Information and purpose

We collect the information submitted through the careers form, including contact details, location and time zone, disciplines, work preferences, links, experience, availability, and written responses.

We use it to assess present or future collaboration, communicate with you, verify experience, plan interviews, maintain hiring records, and protect the integrity of our hiring process.

Retention and sharing

With your explicit consent, we may retain an application for up to 12 months so we can consider it for suitable future work. We may retain limited records longer when required for legal, security, or dispute purposes.

Information may be processed by our hosting, database, and email providers, including providers outside Canada, under appropriate service and security arrangements. We do not sell candidate information.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion, or withdraw future-consideration consent, by emailing micholas@buildthebase.io. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed before the request.
